The Birchwood Farmers Market is a cooperative
single-stand farmer's market in Bellingham, WA.
The market features locally grown vegetables, flowers, fruits, and other goods from over 10 growers and producers in Whatcom county. We are dedicated to increasing food access in our neighborhood by providing fresh, sustainably grown produce at a reduced price. We are happy to accept EBT and Fresh Bucks. Fresh Bucks is a program designed to make healthy produce more affordable, so if you are using EBT your money goes twice as far; you get 50% off your total purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables!
We also accept WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program coupons. To learn more and to find out of you are eligible, check out their websites:
The cooperative nature of the Birchwood Market creates an environment where local farmers can share resources, connect with the community, and move forward towards the common goal of stronger small-scale, local agriculture.
The market was made possible with the generous support of the Food Coop's Farm Fund program, the Park Manor Shopping Center, and all of our wonderful growers.
